But what about the children?
For anyone that has young people in their lives, imagining one of them getting sick is just about the worst thing you can think of. But we know that at some time in their life, it could happen. How do we help protect them now from something that could happen well into the future?... …The Capital KIDS Critical Illness program was designed to help protect the young ones in your life … for most of their life.
How it works:
You sign up for Critical Illness coverage for your kids between the ages 30 days old to 15 years old – anything from $10,000 to $50,000 in coverage. If they get diagnosed with any one of the 37 Critical Illnesses – things like Cancer, Deafness, even severe burns – as well as childhood conditions like Autism, Cystic Fibrosis or Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, the insurance will give a tax-free cheque to help cover costs.
Once they’re covered, their rates are guaranteed until age 70 – so you could be protecting them well into adulthood!
