GLOBAL LOW VOLATILITY FUND (ILIM) LCOMK - The Fund seeks to provide lower volatility than the broad global equity market over a full market cycle (generally at least three years or more). To achieve its objective, the Fund invests primarily in equity securities of companies around the world with a focus on those companies and/or sectors that are believed to likely have lower sensitivity to broader market movements. To further reduce portfolio volatility the Fund may also use derivatives.
CANADIAN RESOURCE (MACKENZIE) LNRM To provide above-average growth of capital. This Fund invests primarily in the equity securities of Canadian natural resource based business including oil and gas, mining, minerals and forest products companies. The Mackenzie resource team follows a value management style beginning with a top-down approach. Mackenzie funds provide a wide variety of investment choices ranging from global and regional equity funds, to global fixed income and balanced funds to global sector and specialty funds.
REAL ESTATE (GWLRA) LREG To provide a balance between long-term capital growth and current income by investing directly or indirectly in a portfolio consisting primarily of income producing Canadian real estate properties. This Fund should be considered as a long-term investment and is not suitable for investors who may need to quickly convert their holdings to cash. This Fund invests primarily in prime quality income-producing properties in Canada, including commercial, retail, industrial and multi-family residential. Selling real estate investments may take time. This could limit the Fund’s ability to respond quickly to changes in economic or investment conditions. Redemptions may be suspended during any period when the Fund does not have sufficient cash or readily marketable securities to meet requests for redemption.
