In September of 2019, our founder, Randy Olson and his wife, May, travelled to Russia on a 10-day cruise down the Volga River. Among the stops was Yaroslavl where they visited the Church of Elijah the Prophet.
When the sunlight came through the windows, Randy paused for a moment to reflect on the beauty and intricate details of this mid-1600s church. Being an avid photographer, Randy snapped this photo.
Now fast forward to nearly one year later, Randy's photo is featured in the Rotarian magazine. As a member of the Rotary Club of Sherwood Park, Randy is eager to share his travels and experiences with the community.
Whether it be photos of historical churches, picturesque shots of our Rocky Mountains, or sunsets over the lake, Randy captures the history, the beauty, and the memories.
